Aims and means of actions
§ 7
The Association aims to:- widespread the knowledge on psychotherapy among its members
- integrate current trends in psychotherapy
- support initiatives and community service of its members
- stimulate professional and economic activity of its members
- enable and facilitate access to achievements of current knowledge in the field of psychotherapy among its members
- support activity in the field of psychotherapy, support its development, especially
a) create principles of ethical code and promote them in the community of psychotherapists
b) create exemplars and standards in psychotherapy
c) protect interests and professional status of psychotherapists
d) represent interests of psychotherapists before Polish and foreign state organs, economic organisations and communities - develop and mould scientific activity among the members of the Association
- develop national and international scientific cooperation and contact
- help members of the Association to acquire textbooks, source materials and other means of supporting training in the field of psychotherapy

Ethical Code of the Polish Association for Integrative Psychotherapy
Preamble
Psychotherapist seeks to contribute to the welfare of persons
with whom contact is awarded: patients, students, persons consulted,
psychotherapists under supervision or research participants.
In doing so, the psychotherapist presents professional integrity,
fair behaviour and respect for the dignity of persons with whom he
maintains professional relationships.
Being aware of occupational inequality in professional relationships, the psychotherapist is sensitive to the possibility of using this advantage during and after concluding psychotherapy or other professional relationship.
